EMMA DJWA

Based in Vancouver, Emma is a director of photography known for bringing clarity and beauty to the screen. Her work has been featured at international festivals including Toronto, New York, and Miami. Inspired by her mixed-race upbringing in Vancouver, her storytelling spans from the Arctic to the desert, blending authenticity with imagination. She is an Associate member of the Canadian Society of Cinematographers and an ICG 669 Operator. Emma holds a BFA in Motion Picture Arts from Capilano University and lives on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples–Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, Stó:lō, Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh, and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm Nations.
